MotoSAT is a leader in the development of automatic, self-pointing satellite systems using push-button methodology. Its approach to the solution of the location of a satellite is unique and has kept MotoSAT on the leading edge of the mobile technology.

MotoSAT’s engineering prowess is backed by over 25 years experience using various satellite technologies that incorporate self-pointing methods of satellite identification. This experience coupled with an innate sense for niche market leadership has guided MotoSAT to the top of the mobile communications industry.

Started in 1985 with a simple vision of taking then emerging satellite TV entertainment with you on your travels, MotoSAT quickly built a reputation for breaking down the barriers of impossibility within the satellite industry. The inception of DBS, or direct-to home satellite TV, ushered in a new era in media mobility allowing for smaller dish sizes to be incorporated without substantial size restraints. In 2001, MotoSAT became the first mobile satellite communications company to introduce a mobile consumer high-speed Internet dish.

Over the last 5 years, MotoSAT has grown into a complete one-stop shop for mobile media and communications. Incorporating satellite internet service provocation, 24/7 support, and online billing has created a residual powerhouse for profitability and success. Located in the heart Utah in the Salt Lake Valley MotoSAT has flourished into a 60+ employee company with complete production facilities able to output any number of mobile satellite products. Since 1999 with little investment, the company has developed an unbelievable number of technologies that has led it to be a leader in the field of mobile satellite technology.
MotoSAT Products

MotoSAT’s automatic, self-pointing satellite systems are broken up into four categories: Mobile Internet, Mobile Stationary Satellite TV, Mobile In-Motion Satellite TV, and Fixed Systems.

Mobile Internet Products
MotoSAT’s Internet product line includes solutions for both consumer and enterprise offerings:
-Consumer: DataStorm F Series Systems, DataStorm D Series Controllers
-Enterprise: DataStorm XF Series, DataStorm D Series Controllers
-Mobile Package Series: DataStorm TCC
These systems stow between 10.5” and 12” in height and can be fitted to any land based application.

• DataStorm F Series with DataStorm D3 Controller
The DataStorm F series features options and scalability for consumer grade services.
The DataStorm F Series is available in the DataStorm F1 .74, F2 .98, or F3, 1.2 meter
dish configurations. All DataStorm F Series systems are compatible with the DataStorm
D3 DVB Controller allowing seamless upgrades and flexibility between F Series
models. The DataStorm F1 .74 Meter dish uses DiRECWAY as a satellite platform
exclusively, while the F2 .98, and F3 1.2 Meter can use Virtually any satellite internet
service platform available including but not limited to DiRECWAY, iDirect, and
UNASAT.

• DataStorm XF Series with DataStorm D3 Controller
The DataStorm XF series features options and scalability for enterprise/government
grade services. The DataStorm XF Series touts ruggedized gearing and digital counting
systems to allow for maximum reliability in extreme environments The DataStorm XF
Series is available in the DataStorm XF2 .98 or XF3, 1.2 meter dish configurations. All
DataStorm XF Series systems are exclusively compatible with the DataStorm D3 DVB
Controller allowing seamless upgrades and flexibility between XF Series models. The
DataStorm XF2 .98, and XF3 1.2 Meter can use Virtually any satellite internet service
platform available including but not limited to DiRECWAY, iDirect, and UNASAT.

• DataStorm D3 DVB Controller
The DataStorm D3 DVB Controller lies at the heart of the DataStorm mobile internet
system. Compatible with all DataStorm systems, the DataStorm D3 can move to one
system to the next with a simple calibration. The DataStorm D3 uses intelligent DVB,
or digital video broadcast, to find, identify, and connect to any satellite in the sky. The
DataStorm D3 uses a three-button power, search, and stow interface. An Ethernet port
allows complete integration with any network and remote management via a HTML
interface for configuration and optional operation. Using GPS to determine its location,
the DataStorm D3 turns any DataStorm system into a quick deploy terminal for vital
and extreme applications.


• DataStorm TCC

The DataStorm TCC [Tactical Command Center] is a complete mobile package on
wheels utilizing any DataStorm satellite system [.74, .98, or 1.2 meter system].
Completely enclosed in a secure fly-away box, the TCC includes the DataStorm D3
controller, satellite platform modem, and WiFi capable antenna. The TCC is truly a first
responder solution for disaster, critical needs, emergency data backup, and more.

Mobile Stationary Satellite TV Products
MotoSAT’s stationary satellite TV product line uses automatic pointing technology while stopped. Push-button ease of use gives these systems virtually no learning curve. They are compatible with virtually any satellite TV platform including DirecTV, Dish Network, and Bell ExpressVu. These systems currently include:
-Open Face Systems: The Executive, MD500, MHDTV, and Nomad 2
-Dome System: The Freedom and Nomad 2
These systems stow/stand between 10.5” and 15” in height and can be fitted to any land based application.

• The Executive with Nomad 2 Controller
The Executive is MotoSAT’s longest running product. Featuring a single LNB head with
two coaxial ports, the Executive is available in an 18” or 24” configurations. Coupled
with the Nomad 2 controller, the Executive’s light and robust design [35 lbs.] can
connect to almost any satellite TV service for programming.

• The MD500 for Dish Network with Nomad 2 Controller
The MD500 is a Dish Network solution for those looking to receive full Dish 500 service
or HDTV via Dish Network. The MD500 uses a skewable 20” dish face to achieve
multiple simultaneous satellite connectivity. The MD500 features a twin LNB head [for
satellites 110° and 119°] with two coaxial ports and uses the Nomad 2 controller.

• The MHDTV for DirecTV with Nomad 2 Controller
The MHDTV is a DirecTV solution for those looking to receive full DirecTV service
or HDTV via DirecTV. The MHDTV uses a skewable 20” dish face to achieve
multiple simultaneous satellite connectivity. The MD500 features a triple LNB head [for
satellites 101°, 110°, and 119°] with two coaxial ports and uses the Nomad 2 controller.

• The Freedom with Nomad 2 Controller
The Freedom is an enclosed domed satellite TV system with the highest signal gain of
any domed system on the market. The Freedom features a single LNB head with two
coaxial ports and utilizes the Nomad 2 controller for usability.

• The Nomad 2 Controller
The Nomad 2 is the MotoSAT’s universal satellite TV controller for stationary automatic
satellite TV systems. The Nomad 2 uses intelligent DVB, or digital video broadcast, to
find, identify, and connect to virtually any satellite in the sky. The Nomad 2 uses a
three-button power, search, and stow interface for operation and operates
independently of any satellite receiver for complete satellite TV platform compatibility.
The Nomad 2 also includes a serial port for quick upgrades of software via a computer
or an automatic updating module.

Mobile In-Motion Satellite TV Products
MotoSAT’s in-motion stationary satellite TV product line uses automatic pointing technology while on-the-go. Push-button ease of use gives these systems virtually no learning curve. They are compatible with virtually any satellite TV platform including DirecTV, Dish Network, and Bell ExpressVu. These systems currently include:
-T2 Automotion
This system stands at 12.5” in height and can be fitted to any land or sea based application.

• The T2 Automotion
The T2 Automotion is MotoSAT’s answer to the in-motion satellite TV market. The T2
features a single LNB head and one coaxial cable. The T2 utilizes a simple two-button
power/search interface and universal satellite TV receiver compatibility.

Fixed System Products
MotoSAT now offers fixed installations of satellite internet for consumer and enterprise applications. Fixed internet satellite platforms can include such providers as iDirect, DiRECWAY, WildBlue, UNASAT, and more. MotoSAT also provides application compatibility to virtually any structure from houses to office buildings and high quality, professional installations.
