The 3D survey for this project is approximately 100 square miles, with approximately seven million traces. The entire cycle time, including making the tomographic picks, the tomographic update of the velocity model and running the depth migration on 40 target lines, takes less than four days using a Linux cluster of only 20 computer processing units (CPUs).
