Sales and the 'Talent Magnet'

A lot is written about being a ‘Talent Magnet’, either as a company, or as President. It’s all good practice – listen, mentor, reward, provide clear goals and career maps. Good practice for the employer, but what about the employee?

HI-FOG water mist fire protection

Marioff Corporation Oy | www.marioff.fi

The environmentally friendly HI-FOG® water mist fire protection technology offers superior fire protection for most applications on land, offshore and at sea.
Marioff’s HI-FOG® high-pressure water mist technology is based on rigorous full-scale fire testing, hundreds of patents and approvals by various authorities. It features fast suppression or extinguishment of the fire, radiant heat blocking to prevent fire spreading, minimised water damages to buildings and equipment, and safety for people and the environment.
Our systems can be configured for most applications, and we have specially designed and approved systems in our portfolio covering:
• machinery spaces and turbine enclosures
• cable and transportation tunnels
• computer and telecom rooms
• hotels and high rise buildings
• museums and heritage buildings
• offshore applications
• passenger vessels
• cargo vessels
• and many more

Advantages
HI-FOG® can replace both gaseous and conventional sprinkler systems. Conventional sprinklers fight fires by the inefficient process of wetting or cooling combustible surfaces. The HI-FOG® technology uses water in the most efficient way, extinguishing by using three primary mechanisms: cooling, local oxygen depletion and radiant heat absorption to prevent possible flashover. HI-FOG® systems produce a large number of very small drops with a high surface area that leads to rapid evaporation of water.
Discharge of the water mist does not harm equipment or people and, unlike gaseous systems, will operate effectively even if the door is open, allowing people to safely evacuate the space.
HI-FOG systems utilise small diameter tubes that can be quickly, easily and discretely installed even in retrofit projects.
Marioff
Marioff markets and sells HI-FOG systems in nine countries through subsidiary companies to ensure the quality of application engineering, installation and commissioning. Marioff’s head office is located in Vantaa, Finland and subsidiaries are in Sweden, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, USA and Canada. In other areas distributors are provided with strong support and co-ordination from corporate headquarters. Marioff develops, designs, manufactures and supplies all key components of the HI-FOG systems within the company, ensuring thus adherence to strict quality requirements, flexibility in deliveries and long term competitiveness.
