The oil spill in the gulf is projected to exceed the Exxon Valdez spill of 1989; a spill in which decades later has yet, to be cleaned up completely. With the most recent spill in the Gulf of Mexico, our environment and our economy require that we take a different approach.
It is said that, things have a way of working themselves out; in the case of an oil spill this is true except when the capacity of oil is too high and too toxic for nature to self correct without suffering irrefutable damage. The spill in the gulf has definitely exceeded that crucial level and requires the assistance of Oil Spill Eater II. OSE II, a first response bioremediation product emulates Mother Nature and speeds up the process of breaking oil down.
Many chemicals or dispersants are unsuccessfully used today to try cleanup spills, their toxicity to humans and ocean life make the oil spill worse. Oil Spill Eater II is a product safe to humans and the environment and within hours of its application reduces oil toxicity and actually begins the process of breaking the oil down into H2O and CO2.
Oil Spill Eater II can help the economy in many ways; first and foremost the cost to purchase and distribute the product is less than that of chemical dispersants. It is safe for anyone to handle so the need for contracted specialists to spray the product are not necessary. OSE II can also impact the economy by cleaning up the spill safely. It is critical to the fishing industry and even the tourism industry that the spill is cleaned up with as little damage as possible.
On May 5th, 2010 OSEI Corporation met in a conference room full of Senators, professors and very respectable DEQ personnel Chris Piehler, who actually set on the RRT as the Louisiana state representative. He was able to discuss information as to how to go forward, and in this meeting it was discovered that the Governor had developed a fast track system to find and activate a new and better response should it be discovered. The new product would go through a review, which the professor from Lafayette was a part of, as well as professors from LSU and the State. After discussing the product the Senators wanted a demonstration. So the entire conference area, standing room only and OSEI Corporation associates went outside to a lake behind the Capital. Oil was poured onto the lake, and OSE II was then applied. All concerned were amazed at the success of the product. Their reaction was that they wanted the fast track review group to review OSE II technical information as well as the OSEI Corporations tests, and experience. The fact that OSE II is on the EPA NCP List would allow the state the ability to legally request the use of it on the gulf spill. The OSEI Corporation waited for the results and late in the evening the group review concluded that OSE II had merit, and the state wanted to move forward with OSE II. The Governor and others wanted to have OSE II applied but further tests were deterred by the RRT. June 3, 2010 the Chairman and CEO of the OSEI Corporation is in negotiations with British Petroleum for the use of OSE II for the Gulf spill. In fact BP has stated to Steven Pedigo that they are waiting on the RRT to approve the use of OSE II for the spill.
OSE II is safe for the environment and ocean life. It is reasonable in cost and would let any standard worker help in combating the problem. As seen before, BP successfully used OSE II to treat multiple spills in Greece and Trinidad and Tobago. Also RRT6 approved and used OSE II to clean a spill on Osage Indian Reservation. OSE II has been successful in cleaning over 14,000 spills over the last 20 years and should definitely be used for the oil spill in the gulf. It is time to make a difference.
