History

Airblast was founded by Cees Bekink in Holland in 1974 in reaction to a market demand for a complete range of open blasting equipment and accessories – the Airblast Head Office remains in Holland to this day. As well as expanding through Europe and the Far East Airblast penetrated the Middle East during the following years setting up offices in Dubai and Saudi Arabia in the mid 1980’s.

Present

Today Airblast has manufacturing facilities in Holland and Singapore serving our regional offices in Holland, England, Singapore, Romania, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Dubai as well as our worldwide network of distributors. The Airblast product range has been developed to incorporate all methods of blasting equipment as well as ranges of complimentary equipment from specialist manufacturers such as painting spray machines and measurement instruments.

Products - Blasting

Airblast has developed and launched advanced ranges of blasting equipment not in reaction to environmental legislation but to offer our customers the chance to embrace new technology and the benefits it offers in terms of higher quality and higher productivity as well as lower actual costs. The Airblast range of dust free blasting methods for on site projects incorporates vacuum blasting, captive blasting, slurry blasting and UHP water jetting; for production based blasting we can offer ranges of stationary wheel blast machines as well as blasting rooms both featuring automatic abrasive recovery and recycling as well as dust extraction and filtration custom designed by our team of engineers at our head office in Holland.

Airblast is a Graco Gold Distributor and has worked in partnership with Graco Inc for more than ten years offering a full range of paint spray and fluid handling solutions. From the popular Xtreme range of sprayers to the advanced XtremeMix electronic plural component sprayer we have a full range of machines, spare parts and accessories in stock.

Products – Measurement

Being an Elcometer distributor Airblast stocks a full range of the popular equipment to measure the various parameters required to check the quality of a blasted and painted surface. Chloride salt test kits, profile gauges, whirling and sling hydrometers, Dry Film Thickness gauges for ferrous and non ferrous substrates with integral and separate probes as well as many other measurement instruments are all available from our extensive stock.
