Over the last few years, the word "nanotechnology" has become fashionable not only in the scientific world, but also in politics, and nanoparticles are predicted to revolutionize a variety of industries. "Nano" fashion has recently come to Russia - here the need for the development of nanotechnology is regarded as one of the most important priorities of country's economic development. Energy companies are currently experiencing difficult times but they don't remain on the sidelines, because the potential benefits of nanotechnology in this industry are enormous.
